Project Overview
The Youth For Children (Y4C) Innovation Hub is a convening and training space to promote child rights and invest in open innovation by young people that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The Y4C Hub provides technological resources, design workshops and training, and skill-based seminars to enhance the leadership and innovation capacity of young people in Tanzania.
Project Team
The project key members are students and several CoICT lecturers as mentors.
Project Management
The Y4C hub is housed at the University of Dar es Salaam College of ICT and was established in collaboration between UDSM and UNICEF Tanzania.
It is lead by Dr Hellen Maziku as the Principal Investigator.
