Biography
I am an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT), University of Dar es Salaam. I joined UDSM as a Tutorial Assistant in 2010 and subsequently became an Assistant Lecturer in 2013. I have an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden (2013), and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam (2009).
My main areas of research, teaching and consultancy are Software Engineering and Information Systems. Specifically, my research interest covers the following areas: Requirement engineering, agile development process (Scrum), analysis and design of Information Systems. I am keen on the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and interoperability of Information Systems, particularly in the context of developing countries. Since 2013, I have consulted widely in the area of Information, including implementation of DHIS2 projects in the Health, Social Welfare, and Agricultural Sector in Tanzania.
